Booking enquiries

The booking form builds an email in your own mail app. Nothing is sent to us until you press send there. We use the details you give (name, email, phone, dates, notes) only to reply to your enquiry and to host your stay.

Seasonal letters (newsletter)

Purpose: if you sign up, we use your email address only to send you Kura Retreat's seasonal letters, about four a year, which may include news, seasonal menus and offers for returning guests. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell or share it for others' marketing.

How it works: you tick the consent box, then we send a confirmation email. You are added only after you open the link in it and press the confirm button (double opt-in). We store the language you chose, the date and time of your consent, and the wording version (2026-10-v1) as proof of consent.

Processor: letters are stored and sent by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France; EU). Brevo acts on our behalf and may process data on servers in the EU and, for some services, other countries under appropriate safeguards. By signing up you understand that your email address is handled by this overseas service provider.

Retention: we keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep only a minimal record that you opted out, so we never write to you again.

Unsubscribe: every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom (one click). You can also email us and we will remove you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop us using it. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the rights set out in GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will reply promptly.
